Surrounded by Morons [11 Jun 2004|07:39pm]
So, my grandma insists she saw Ray Charles at a club when she was 15. She's 78 now, and Ray just died at the age of 73. You do the math.

Grammar God!
You are a GRAMMAR GOD!

If your mission in life is not already to
preserve the English tongue, it should be.
Congratulations and thank you!

Here you go, woman. [19 May 2004|01:43am]

[ music | John Ottman: Suite from X2 ]

On Amanda's insistence, here's an update. I have a cool boss. He goes to Florida and buys me things.
Like this. )

You can also see where I ripped my finger apart there...I dropped a desk on a flatbed cart and it caught my finger between that and the corner of the desk. it looks worse than you can see in that picture.

Happy, Amanda?

Have you ever driven somewhere and had the music up so loud that it made you nauseous? It's an excellent exhilarating experience. Evidently, It appears alliterative as well.

I don't want to live this life [22 Mar 2004|11:38pm]
[ mood | Thoughtful ]
[ music | Black Eyed Peas: Hey Mama ]

Old people are kind of weird. I work at a used bookstore, and it attracts an older demographic of customers more than anything else. The weirdest thing is that more people than you would expect say things to me about being ready to die, and welcoming it. Now, I'm not someone thats uncomfortable with my own mortality, as I know everyone and everything dies. Ironically, that's life. And I know there is a large group of people out there that are more than ready to die. But having people actually tell me that is strange. One lady today was saying how she's lived through too many wars, and that people can't handle peace, and she's ready to leave. Her family members have been in more wars than she cares to remember. She's seen the world, and ready to know what else there is. I can't believe people would want to die. It's so strange for me to try and comprehend.

I want something implanted into my brain so that when i think of something, it will automatically transcribe it, so i don't fucking forget it instantly. I have the memory of a small old man.

What the hell. I try to sign into my Yahoo mail, and it says that my account is locked out for 12 hours cause it's been signed into with a wrong password too many times. I've gotta change my passwords for EVERYTHING.
Grr.

Hm. [06 Mar 2004|11:09pm]
[ mood | Suspicious ]
[ music | Devildriver: Devil's Son ]

You ever get the feeling that someone's spying on you? Cause I check my email, and I'll find a message or two that I KNOW I've never read marked as read. Just weird little things here and there. I feel someone is watching my moves, and I don't like it.

In other news, I've been plagued by increasingly weird dreams lately. One involved comic books. One involved the singer Pink. (I have no idea.) One involved me stabbing out the eyes of a man to save myself. I don't know what my subconscious is trying to tell me, but it's starting to weird me out. Especially 'cause I NEVER used to remember my dreams. This is a very new phenomenon.

Are you Addicted to the Internet?

44%??

Average@Internet-User.com (41%?-?60%)
You seem to have a healthy balance in your life when it comes to the internet and life away from the computer. You know enough to do what you want online without looking like an idiot (most of the time). You even have your own Yahoo club or online journal! But you enjoy seeing your friends and going out to enjoy life away from your computer.

You Are Ed Wood From "Ed Wood."

You definitely have your name in history, although probably not for the reason you believe. Yet you are very accepting, non-judgemental, and optimistic almost to a fault. You also have a thing for angora sweaters. How could anyone not like you?

I would kill for a classic Nickelodeon channel. I could go for some "You Can't do that on Television" or "Salute Your Shorts" or "Are you Afraid of the Dark" right about now.
